Last weekend was the weekend of the Grandma’s!! The hubby and I were off the hook on entertaining the kids since their 3 grandma’s had fun with them all weekend.
On Saturday, Mimi took Sugie to a birthday party at Gattitown and also took her shopping. Of course, Sugie came home with several new outfits! With Sugie gone most of the afternoon and evening, we asked Grandma if she’d like some one-on-one Buddy time. She did!! So, the hubby and I escaped to Haub Steakhouse for a very nice early dinner. We were supposed to have gone to dinner with some other couples, but they weren’t eating until 7. That dinner time doesn’t fit into our schedule anymore b/c of the kids early bedtimes. But, we totally enjoyed the alone time and great food at our dinner date for two!
On Sunday, Mims, who was in town from Arizona, picked up both kids and took them to Chuck E. Cheese’s. They had so much fun playing with Mims and their cousins! Sugie came home with some fabulous purple dangly earrings. Needless to say, the kids were super wild when they returned home. Thank you, Mimi, Grandma, & Mims for giving us the weekend off and playing with the precious children!
