Day Off School with Dad

The kids love having school days off because it means a fun day with Dad!  The day always starts off with breakfast out somewhere with Grandma.

After shopping, it's usually time for a special fun activity.

Sugie's 4th Grade Choir Concert

The 4th grade at Sugie's school performed a choir concert in April.  They sang about 6 six songs and danced along to them.

It was a really cute program!!  They looked and sounded great!!

Fun at the Park

We took advantage of a beautiful spring afternoon and went to a nearby park to play.

The Inflatable Fun Factory

Another day off of school means more fun with Dad!!  Today, they went to the Inflatable Fun Factory.

Sugie may have had more fun doing gymnastics on the floor than bouncing on the inflatables!

I love taking pics of my kids sleeping.  They just look so peaceful.

 

Also, they're not kicking, yelling, screaming, hitting, arguing, talking back, or tattling.

Grandpa's 89th Birthday

To celebrate Grandpa Gene's 89th birthday, we had a basketball & pizza party at our house.

All of my aunts and uncles were there and even my cousin Erik and his wife.

Easter 2013

Looks like we had a visit from the Easter Bunny!!  The kids were excited to find their baskets full of goodies.

We did our usual Easter routine - church, family lunch, and family egg hunt.

The family hunt begins!  Each participant is given a certain egg color to find.

After the hunt, we had a silly string battle!

By the looks of Buddy's shirt, he didn't fare so well in the battle.

Then, it was time to check out the candy in the eggs.

Sugie organized egg races.  So, we chose teams and carried an egg on spoon up and down the basketball court.

To finish off the fun day, we had a birthday party for me and Tyler, who was turning 15!!  It was a fantastic Easter!!
