The Fall Festival

We made our trip to the Fall Festival on Saturday, October 8.  We arrived just after the pet parade, so it wasn't very crowded yet.  The kids slid down the big slide first.   Buddy was the fastest kid down!

Then, they tried out a few other rides.  Poor Little E was just a smidgeon to short for some of the rides.  He kept saying, "My turn!  My turn!"  He just didn't understand the rules.
Surprisingly, the kids fought over who got to ride with Little E.  I thought they'd want their own seat, but they were excited to share the fun with their baby brother.

After the rides, it was time for some food!  Little E ate every signal kernal off of this cob.  He LOVED it!!
Buddy was so excited for a Pronto Pup and a caramel apple.
Sugie wanted cotton candy and Puppy Chow.
My rule is that the family has to try something new or unusual each year.  This year's item was.... Deep Fried Pepsi!  Gross.  Icky.  Just tasted like bad donuts.  We bombed with our Chocolate Covered Bacon in year's past.  I should have stuck with my first inclination to try the Deep Fried Thin Mints.
On our way out, we promised the kids they could play some games.  Sugie was adamant about wanting a fish.  We had no luck on our first set of 20 balls.  She begged and begged for another shot.  She nailed it on ball 3!!
Here is our new family pet, Bubbles!!  (By the way, this fish is female, according to Sugie.  Don't even try to call it a "he!")
