The Easter Egg Hunt

We attended our church's annual Easter egg hunt.
Little E refused to look at the camera!
Before the hunt, the kids visited different activity and snack tables.

Then, the kids hunted eggs by age.  E wasn't that excited about getting eggs, but Sugie was there to encourage and motivate him!

Buddy, on the other hand, was an egg hunting beast!!  He had a good time!

Sugie had a great time, too!!

It's time to see what's inside of the eggs....
Later that afternoon...  Hunting Easter eggs must be exhausting!

Dying Easter Eggs.... and Sugie's Hair

The kids were very excited about dying Easter eggs.
We used bright colors this year.  They were ok.  The kids got tired of waiting while they soaked.
The boys crack me up here!

The finished product:
Sugie and I used the left over dye to color some of our hair!  Since colored hair isn't allowed at school, we had to "hide" Sugie's colored pieces.  I dyed some of my ends purple.  It was fun!

Mani & Pedi Day!

The hubby took Sugie for a manicure and pedicure on the last day of spring break.  She's ready to go back to school in style now!

Visiting our New Friend

Our good friends had their third child on my birthday!!  Sugie was especially anxious to get to the hospital to see the sweet baby.  Buddy was more excited than I thought he'd be.  He was very loving and gentle with her.  Congrats Petersons!

Disney on Ice

We were having a great spring break!!  The next day, we went to Disney on Ice.
Little E loved seeing his favorite characters, Mickey Mouse and Toy Story.
Buddy liked the army guys from Toy Story.
As an ice skater, Sugie loved the artistry and elements of the skating.  She pointed out all of the moves she knows and really appreciated the skating aspect of the show.

My 37th Birthday

It was my 37th birthday on the day we came home from St. Louis.  After Sugie's ice skating test, we headed to Zuki for a fun birthday dinner.
Sugie was a little sad this night because it was the first time she didn't pass an ice skating level.  We felt bad for her, but thought the fun dinner would help cheer her up.
We had a little family party at home after dinner and celebrated with cookie cake!

Spring Break - St. Louis

We were on our way home from Branson when the kids begged us for one more night in a hotel.  (They love being on vacation!)  So, we stopped at our favorite hotel in St. Louis for another day/night of fun.

The luggage cart area made a great jungle gym for our little travelers.

After dinner, we took a little walk around downtown.

We stopped off for some dessert.  It must have been really good because Little E actually licked the plate clean!
We ended the day with swimming, movies and popcorn.  It was a nice ending to our little spring getaway.
