A few weekends ago, we participated in a fun activity with several of our close friends. Since last fall, our church had planned a meal packing event in February for children in Haiti. Since the earthquake hit 3 weeks before our event, the size of the event doubled. Children aged 5 and older could help pack, so we put Sugie to work! She was a great helper and wanted to go longer than our two hours. Here’s a short video of what we did. You can find me at 0:23 in a green shirt. Sugie is at 0:50 and holding the cup at 1:06 – you can see her princess crown under her hairnet! Sugie’s future husband (we hope!) is at 1:28!! (She did have a meltdown at first about the hairnet, but got over it when the fun started.)
